2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame Presenters: Part 2

By Evan Chronis

The 2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame Presenters series rolls on with our second edition showcasing the choices of enshrinees Ty Law and Pat Bowlen.

Check out Part 1

The choice of presenters is one of the most anticipated decisions in the lead up to 2019 Enshrinement, and we're highlighting the relationships that made each pick possible.

Here are your next two presenters for the Class of 2019.

Byron "Book" Washington, Presenter for Ty Law

Family isn't always defined by bloodline or parentage. Sometimes it's about the people you've spent most of your life with.

For Ty Law, that person his Byron "Book" Washington — his presenter for the 2019 Enshrinement Ceremony.

Law equates Washington to his "biological twin", citing the two's relationship as the closest one he has in life. Washington and Law grew up across the street from one another in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania and their friendship never died out.

Law has kept Washington by his side through the highs and lows of his career and now has the chance to give his best friend the ultimate honor as his career reaches its peak.

Steve "Greek" Antonopulos, Presenter for Pat Bowlen

As an owner, you always want to reward and say thank you to your top employees.

Even after his passing in June, former Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen has the chance to honor an exemplary employee when he is enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 3.

Bowlen's family has selected longtime Broncos trainer Steve "Greek" Antonopulos to be the one to serve as presenter for Bowlen, a reward and honor for almost four decades of service and friendship between the two.

Antonopulos enters his 44th season for the Broncos organization in 2019, having served as Denver's head athletic trainer for 37 years before being named the team's director of sports medicine.

"We are so proud that this proud man could attain this," Antonopulos said of Bowlen in a public statement release. "He worked his rear off for this organization and for the National Football League. Now he's getting rewarded for things that he did that stimulated the growth of the NFL. I think we're all so proud of him, both professionally and personally."
