2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame Presenters: Part 1

By Evan Chronis

The best figures in football can't accomplish greatness alone. Whether it's the support of family and friends of the drive given by a coach or fellow teammate, there is more than one person involved in a Hall of Fame career. That's why there is such a huge importance placed on who enshrinees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame choose as their presenters. Everyone has a story and has people who helped them along the way.

Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be looking at the people chosen as the presenters for each member of the Class of 2019.

Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2019

Dennis Allen, Presenter for Tony Gonzalez

Tony Gonzalez is keeping it within the family for his enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, selecting his cousin, Dennis Allen, as his presenter.

Gonzalez sites Allen as one of the most instrumental figures during his entire playing career, being with Gonzalez from the moment he was drafted into the NFL in 1997 all the way to his final season in Atlanta in 2013.
The decision seemed to come easy for the legendary tight end, as he was the first 2019 enshrinee to announce who he had selected as his presenter.

Hear why Gonzalez chose Allen in his own words:

Jack Reale, Presenter for Champ Bailey

Players will typically select a teammate, coach or family member to be their enshrinement presenter, but Champ Bailey chose a different route.

Longtime agent and attorney, Jack Reale, will be the man to present for Bailey at the 2019 Enshrinement Ceremony.

Reale and Bailey first met when the former represented the latter's older brother, Ron. When Bailey chose to forgo his senior season at Georgia and enter the 1999 NFL Draft, the choice of his agent was easy.

Reale's main priority remained his law practice, but he still had the time to represent a couple hundred players over his career, Bailey being one with the highest profile.

In a statement on the Drew Eckl & Farnham official blog, Reale said: “I am honored that Champ has chosen me. It was truly a joy watching him grow and develop into the league’s best defensive back and I am proud to be here for the next step in his journey.”
